The Ministry of Health has updated a list of countries where COVID-19 cases are registered. After visiting these countries, people must go to a 10-day quarantine upon arrival in Belarus.
Persons who arrived in Belarus from the countries on the list must go to isolation for 10 days. Since 21 October, 28 countries have been included in the list.
The list includes France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Moldova, USA, Lebanon, Netherlands, Iceland, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Romania, Northern Macedonia, Ireland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Tunisia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Liechtenstein, Malta, Bulgaria, Canada.
Foreigners travelling through our country in transit will neither need a COVID-19 certificate nor will they need isolation. They will need to document their 24-hour transit through Belarus.

Belarus has not yet introduced quarantine in connection with the coronavirus pandemic in the world. However, there are more and more new restrictions:
– The elderly and people with chronic diseases are strongly advised not to leave home. If they need a prescription for a drug, they should call the polyclinic – medical workers or a volunteer will take the document home. If they need to buy medicine or food, they should call their family, neighbours, volunteers, and social workers who will buy everything they need.
– You need to keep your distance and disinfect the shops. Antiseptics for hand treatment should be visible, and wet cleaning, including the use of disinfectants, should be carried out more frequently in the shops. At cash desks, customers should keep a distance of 1.5 meters from each other.
– All mass events involving foreign citizens – concerts, festivals, sports competitions – are temporarily cancelled.
Additional plans to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Minsk, Vitebsk, Grodno, Baranovichi were adopted. These measures are in force until the epidemiological situation changes:
– employees with signs of acute respiratory infections are not allowed to work;
– meetings and seminars should be held by video conferences, no strangers are allowed in the organizations;
– if employees come into contact with visitors, they must wear a mask and gloves and maintain a distance of 1.5 meters;
– mass events (exhibitions, presentations, fairs, etc.) are temporarily cancelled;
– reading rooms in libraries are closed;
– it is up to the parents to decide whether to take the child to the garden or school;
– students are recommended to be transferred to distance learning, it is not allowed to go home to their parents, strangers are not allowed into the dorms;
– no bookings at cafes and restaurants – no weddings, no funeral meals, staff must wear masks and gloves, as must shop staff;
– nightclubs and discos are temporarily closed;
– churches should be regularly disinfected, ventilated, and services reduced.

The day before it was reported about 1066 detected cases of coronavirus infection. Thus, the increase for the day was 420 people – a record since the outbreak.
There are 1331 people on hospital treatment. The majority of patients have mild to moderate forms of disease.

Belarus has recorded the largest increase in the number of cases since the outbreak: On April 7 there were 861 cases, on April 8 – 1066. This is a plus of 205 cases per day.
There are 976 people on hospital treatment. Most patients have the disease in mild or medium form.
33 patients need the support of an artificial lung ventilation device, they have had medical consultations with leading infectious disease specialists and anesthesiologists-resuscitators.
After treatment 77 people recovered.
No new cases of deaths from coronavirus infection have been registered in the past 24 hours, earlier the Ministry of Health confirmed the death of 13 patients with coronavirus.

In Belarus, 861 people have been infected with coronavirus since the outbreak. Of these, 54 people have recovered and 13 have died. This was reported by the Ministry of Health in the official Telegram channel.

Most of ill patients are in Minsk, most of those who’ve recovered are in Vitebsk. The number of deaths in Minsk and Vitsebsk is equal – five people each. Another three people died in Minsk region.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of people infected with coronavirus has increased to 562 in Belarus as of April 5.
There have been recorded 8 deaths of patients.
Currently, there are 502 people on hospital treatment with coronavirus infection. Most patients have the disease in mild or moderate form, said the Ministry of Health. After treatment, 52 people have recovered.
Spring vacation for schoolchildren will be extended by one week. They must return to class on Monday, April 13. This decision was taken by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

In Belarus 351 cases of coronavirus have been recorded.
The Ministry of Health provided statistics by regions: Minsk and the Minsk region and Vitebsk region are at the top.
The Ministry of Health has so far officially reported four deaths in which the coronavirus has been confirmed.
There are 190 cases of coronavirus in Minsk, with the Vitebsk region in second place with 89 cases. In the Minsk region 50 people were infected. There are 13 cases in the Gomel region, 6 cases in the Grodno region, 2 cases in the Mogilev region and one case in the Brest region.
Most of the coronavirus cases are registered among people between 25 and 64 years of age.

At present there are 10,640 test systems in Belarus and in the coming days the country will receive another 10,000 test systems. In addition, clinical tests of three test systems from Belarusian production are being carried out.

According to the Ministry of Health, 300 people in Belarus have been infected with coronavirus since the outbreak. Among them, 254 people are now on hospital treatment, while 42 have recovered and 4 have died. Almost 2000 contacts are in hospitals.
The Ministry of Health reports that in most cases the disease is mild to moderate. 11 patients need artificial lung ventilation and their condition is assessed as stable.
The polyclinics now have separate entrances and rooms for patients with fever and symptoms of acute respiratory infection.

The Ministry of Health no longer provides information on the number of people infected with coronavirus.
More than 32 thousand tests for coronavirus infection have been conducted in Belarus to date.
In the last 24 hours five patients have been discharged, whose previous COVID-19 test had a positive result. There are 157 people under medical supervision and under treatment. According to the Belarusian mass media, there are currently from 163 to 217 cases of coronavirus infection in Belarus. The Ministry of Health hasn’t reported on the total number of cases of coronavirus since March 31. 152 cases were reported on March 30. Two patients with coronavirus are known to have died.
Director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe Hans Kluge, according to the WHO representative in Belarus, Batyr Berdyklychev, stressed that the situation is developing very rapidly, respectively, the measures taken by the country should also be quickly adjusted to the epidemiological situation.
According to Batyr Berdyklychev, it’s very important to inform the population about the virus spread in time. “Informing should be regular and open enough for the population to have full information about the risks, how the situation develops and what measures are taken. Lack of information can provoke fear, so an important element in combating the epidemic is the involvement of the population,” emphasizes the WHO representative in Belarus.

As of Monday, March 30, there were 152 cases of coronavirus in Belarus. The official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Health reports that 47 people, previously tested positive for COVID-19, have been discharged or are expected to be discharged soon. Medical monitoring and treatment of 105 people is ongoing.
In the last three days the number of cases of coronavirus in Belarus has more than halved: from 94 to 152. To date, more than 30 thousand COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the country. Measures to control the epidemiological situation are being continued and, if necessary, patients are hospitalized for further monitoring and examination. Thus, in the past 24 hours 110 people have been hospitalized and 144 discharged, including those who had contact with carriers of infection.
In Belarus, no quarantine has been declared, no educational institutions have been closed, and borders have been opened. However, March 27, a 14-day quarantine was introduced for all visitors from the countries, where cases of coronavirus have been registered.

Belarus and Russia have agreed together to take the Belarusians out of the countries where they got stuck.
Belarusians will be taken out along with Russian citizens on the basis of evacuation lists, prepared by the Belarusian side.
Belarusians will be able to fly to Moscow by Russian charter flights. And regular Belavia flights will fly to their homeland from Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports.

The Ministry of Health has opened a special charity account. Anyone who wishes to support physicians fighting against coronavirus may transfer money to this account.
Belarusian IT companies Currency.com, Melsoft, Easybrain and Vizor Games transferred to the charity account of the Ministry of Health and other Belarusian projects to fight against coronavirus 100 thousand dollars in equivalent each.
Currency.com also launches the “Help medics” campaign. All collected funds (and one can donate both cryptocurrency and ordinary money) will be transferred to the charity account of the Belarusian Ministry of Health. The new tokens will be added to the platform from March 31.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of cases of coronavirus in Belarus has increased to 94.
Currently, about 24 thousand tests for COVID-19 have been performed in the country, reported the press service of the Ministry of Health. Thirty-two patients have already been discharged or are preparing for discharge. Previously, they had a positive result of the test for COVID-19. In the process of observation and treatment, negative test results were received. Medical monitoring and treatment of 62 patients is ongoing.
No patients with coronavirus are on artificial lung ventilation. There is sufficient stock of medicines. There are 2221 available places in hospitals at the moment, and the ambulance is working as usual and coping with the treatment.
The Ministry of Health has published a list of countries where COVID-19 cases are registered. After visiting these countries, citizens must go to quarantine upon arrival in Belarus.
The list includes almost 170 countries, including those where the largest number of infections has been registered so far (China, USA, Italy, Spain, Germany and others), as well as all neighboring countries of Belarus (Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania and Latvia).

The Government of Belarus has identified measures to prevent the importation and spread of infection caused by the coronavirus COVID-19.
According to the resolution of the Council of Ministers, all people who arrived in Belarus from the countries, where cases of infection with COVID-19 are registered, within 14 calendar days from the date of arrival:
- must be in self-isolation at home;
- are not subject to subsequent crossing of the Belarusian border (until the self-isolation period expires).
The list of countries where cases of COVID-19 infection are registered, according to the document, should be published on the official website of the Ministry of Health. But there is no such list now. Judging by the government decree, we are talking about almost all countries in the world, including Russia, with which we have no border.
According to the government decree, border guards officers issue a questionnaire to all those who have arrived. Once completed, it is handed over to officials of the Ministry of Health. However, it is not clear how we can control visitors on the border with Russia, which we do not have a border with.
The resolution comes into force on March 27.

The number of people infected with coronavirus COVID-19 in Belarus has reached 86 people, said the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
29 patients have been discharged or are preparing to be discharged, while another 57 people are currently under medical surveillance.
Monday, officials of the Ministry of Health assured that the situation with the spread of coronavirus is now under control. However, certain measures are being taken: control of those entering the country and isolation of contacts of patients.
In addition, catering establishments are encouraged to set up tables at a greater distance from each other. Minsk cinemas have already changed the seating arrangements so that there is sufficient distance between visitors.
Those who are ill, as well as the elderly and those with chronic diseases, are advised to keep isolated.

The Government intends to adopt a package of measures to support enterprises in the crisis caused by the pandemic.
The Ministry of Economy has offered a fairly broad set of instruments, which includes tax holidays, credit holidays and support for individual entrepreneurs. The government plans to make a final decision on the proposed support measures next Tuesday. This will be the first step, which will mainly concern enterprises.
The availability of masks and respirators in pharmacies has been under control of the government since the beginning of the Coronavirus’ spread. Today Belarus is provided with both class 2 and 3 respirators, as well as medical masks in sufficient quantity. 380 thousand masks were in warehouses on the morning of March 24. 250 thousand masks are produced per day.
As a reminder, 81 cases of infection with coronavirus were recorded in Belarus on March 23, while 22 people have already recovered. The oldest patient is 78 years old, while the youngest 3 years old.

The number of people infected with coronavirus in Belarus is 81 as of March 23, reported the press service of the Ministry of Health.
Thanks to the measures taken by physicians, the spread of the virus can be kept under control, but new cases are still recorded.
Physicians recommend self-isolation for all those coming from abroad for 14 days. And social distance – being a meter away from others – is recommended for everyone else.
The Ministry of Health does not intend to close cafes and restaurants yet, but the owners are advised to increase the distance between tables.
The Government of Belarus instructed the Ministry of Finance to allocate BYN 2.351.413 (about a million dollars) from the budget to prevent the entry and spread of infection caused by coronavirus COVID-19, reported the press service of the Council of Ministers.
