The Berezina (Belarusian: Бярэзіна/ Bjaresina) is with a total length of 600km the longest river in Belarus, and at the same time one of the most untouched. The Berezina has a zigzag riverbed, a lot of old water and flood lakes, and a great variety of flora and fauna. The overgrown old waters create perfect living conditions for many birds and aquatic mammals such as beavers and otters. During the tour, their tracks can be discovered everywhere, with a little luck the animals will also show themselves.

A ranger from the biosphere reserve is your companion during the whole tour. He knows the national park like no other and can tell you a lot about flora and fauna. The biosphere reserve provides you with all the tour equipment (boats, tents, food etc.). On the first day of the tour you paddle about 10km. In the evening you pitch your tent on a picturesque riverbank and prepare a delicious dinner at the campfire with the help of the ranger. For breakfast you will have freshly picked blueberries (July and August). The second day is a real sporting challenge. There are 23 kilometres to paddle in a canoe through the wild part of Berezina. Today there is no fixed sleeping place, so your guide can adapt flexibly to you and your physical condition. The first half of the trip will take you right to the border of the Biosphere Reserve, where the river is the natural border. After a short lunch break you paddle along wild meadows and bogs. After this tour day the food tastes especially good, a fresh mushroom meal cooked by the fire and an impressive sunset over the banks let you forget the efforts of the day quickly. On the third and last day of your tour, you will travel another 10km along wooded shores towards the centre of the biosphere reserve. Around 15:00 you will be picked up by car. Afterwards further destinations in the north of Belarus await you, or we take you back to Minsk.
